I first picked up a camera when I was 15, growing up on a Navy base. My mother was the first woman test-range-tracker in the United States and the second in the world. Because of that, film was easy for me to access, so I learned quickly, developing both my skills and a lifelong fascination with capturing the world through a lens. Photography has been part of my life ever since.
Having traveled 3/4 of the way around the globe during my time in the U. S. Navy, I am enthralled by the beauty and wonder of the world we live in and I strongly desire to share that beauty with others. After marrying Micki and introducing her to the joys of photography, we have traveled to many places to add to our portfolios, sharing adventures, and having a good time capturing images of the splendor we find around us. Micki and I hope you enjoy our work and find it "wall-worthy" in your homes or offices. Our motto is, "Bringing the Beauty of God's Earth to You."
Over the years, I’ve explored many subjects, but I’ve always been drawn most to landscapes — the way light transforms a scene, how weather changes a mood, and the small details that tell a much larger story.
Today, based in Reno, Nevada, I continue to chase those moments, seeking out places where the land, sky, and light align in a way that makes me stop, look, and want to share what I see.
For me, photography is about more than just making an image — it’s about connecting to an instant in time and inviting others to experience it with me.
I wish you the Blessings of Peace, Prosperity, and Beautiful Surroundings, now and always!
Rob
